Stephanie Hirsh to testify before Senate committee tomorrow

Exciting news this week! NSDC Executive Director Stephanie Hirsh will testify before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions tomorrow, April 15, as part of a hearing on the reauthorization of ESEA.
You can watch Stephanie's testimony live on the committee's web site. The hearing begins at 10 a.m. Eastern, and will be live streamed on the committee's page.
?As you know, NSDC has been working to ensure that its new definition of professional development is included in the reauthorized ESEA. We have asked you to join this cause by advocating for professional learning in your states and communities. Now we are asking that you share your success stories with us so that we can share them with Congress.
?Following Thursday's hearing, there will be a 10-day window where we add to the written record of Stephanie's testimony. We have compiled a number of stories of schools and districts that have successfully implemented NSDC's definition for that written record. If you would like us to add your school or district to that record, tell us how you have successfully implemented the cycle of continuous improvement.
