NSDC's Summer Conference Sampler now available

Today NSDC is releasing its Summer Conference Sampler, an online collection of keynote addresses and breakout sessions from our 5th Annual Summer Conference.
More than 1,500 people attended the summer conference in Boston. The Summer Sampler provides an opportunity for those who did not attend the conference to experience a number of conference sessions, and for attendees to expand their conference learning.
The Summer Conference Sampler includes keynote addresses by:
- Boston Public Schools Superintendent Carol Johnson;
- Harvard University Researcher Ronald Ferguson;
- Author Phillip Schlechty; and
- University of Texas Professor Robert Duke.
The Sampler also includes breakout sessions focusing on:
- strategies to engage the adult brain;
- creating a culture of shared leadership and embedded coaching;
- exploring race, relationships, and rigor;
- team collaboration to improve student achievement;
- effective instructional coaching; and
- developing students' critical thinking skills.
